I often find myself introducing entrepreneurs to other entrepreneurs, angels, VCs, and service providers. These connections are great and usually work out for the best for both parties. That being said, it is often the other type of connection that I make that has the most impact. That is connecting entrepreneurs with potential mentors and advisors.
The insights and experiences that are shared, in addition to the potential for a confidant and mentor can be instrumental. Many an entrepreneur finds themselves having to recreate the wheel simply because that don’t know who to chat with or who to reach out to.
In my role as NWEN Board Member, I have launched a program called NWEN Advisors where we are looking to formalize the process for making these types of connections. If you are someone who is looking to engage with an entrepreneur or an entrepreneur looking to meet potential advisors, I would suggest you give this program a try.
The program is currently limited to the Seattle area.
